Being Locked Doesn’t Take Erotic Stimulation off the Table
A lot of areas of the body feel pleasurable to touch and stimulate. The lips, neck, chest, and inner thighs for example. But few non-genital erogenous zones have the potential to feel as good as nipple stimulation. And now that you’re in a locked state you want to learn how to make the most of them, and perhaps even bring on a nipple orgasm.
What Is a Nipple Orgasm?
A nipple orgasm is the orgasmic feeling someone gets when their nipples are stimulated. The orgasm might happen when only the nipples are played with, or at the same time as other stimulation such as kissing or penetration.
Why Does Nipple Play Feel So Good?
A man’s nipple has hundreds of nerves inside it. (For context, there are around 7,000 in the head of the penis, and between 9,000 and 11,000 in the clitoris.) But the high number of nerves isn’t the only link between nipples and genitals.
In 2011, psychotherapist, sex therapist, and neuroscientist Dr Nan Wise, uncovered why nipple stimulation feels so good compared to other erogenous zones.
And what she found surprised both her and her team.
The expectation was that nipple stimulation would activate the part of the brain associated with chest sensation. But they discovered that nipple play fired up the same part of the brain as genital stimulation.
Speaking to The Guardian, Dr Wise said, “The nipples are a hardwired erogenous zone, like the genitals. When nipples are stimulated, the brain gets activated and regions processing the sensation communicate with those responsible for pleasure.”
Knowing there are neural connections between the nipples, genitals, and the brain makes it a little less surprising as to why it feels good. But if this is the case, why can’t everyone achieve a nipple orgasm? And why is it so much harder to achieve than by stimulating the genitals?
As with most things related to sex and pleasure, what works for one person might not be the same for someone else.
5 Techniques to Encourage a Nipple Orgasm
Similar to becoming a multi-orgasmic man, achieving a nipplegasm involves working on the connection between your nipples and pleasure. Visualization, breathing, and blended pleasure are just some of the techniques you can use.
1. Get Into the Right Frame of Mind
Jacking off when you’re horny and uncaged is simple. You rarely need to get into a headspace where you connect your genitals to the touch you feel and the climax you’re working towards. In most cases you can just grab it and go for it.
But vigorously stroking, rubbing, and pinching your nipples straight away is unlikely to elicit the same response. Instead, you need to be gentle and give yourself a chance to build your arousal.
You can do that by:
- Getting naked.
- Taking a shower or bath.
- Spending time admiring yourself.
- Touching and stroking other parts of your body such as your inner thighs, chest, arms, and neck.
Your goal at this point is to alert your body to the fact that pleasure is on the way, and mentally tune into that. Once you reach that point you can head for the goods, which in this case are your nipples.
2. Experiment With Nipple Massage
When it comes to touching and stimulating the nipples, you might turn to tantric massage techniques.
In her book Tantra: the Art of Mind Blowing Sex, author Val Sampson identifies four full-body massage movements: fan strokes, circle strokes, percussion, and feathering. And while she describes using them to massage large areas of the body such as the back and legs, with a little modification you can make them work for your nipples. Using these movements will give you touch techniques ranging from light and gentle to powerful and intense.
Small fan strokes. Rest both palms just below your pecs, and move them steadily upwards and over the nipples before sliding down again on the other side of your pec. Repeat the movement.
Tiny circle strokes. Using your index and forefinger, draw a smooth spiral that starts on the outer edge of the areola and gets closer to your nipple each time. When you reach the center, reverse the movement and spiral outwards.
Finger percussion. During full body massage, the percussion movement uses the sides of the hands to beat the body. For our purposes, use the flats of your fingers, or even just your index and middle finger. Tap the nipple, starting gently and then with increasing strength until you find a level that feels good to you.
Little feathering strokes. This is the lightest of touches involving just your fingertips, and is usually saved to the end of a massage as your body is in tune to being touched. You may want to end your nipple play this way by gently brushing your nipples with your fingertips.
3. Make a Connection
Connect the feeling of your nipples being played with to orgasmic pleasure by exploring blended pleasure. This is where you stimulate your nipple while simultaneously touching another known erogenous zone. Your body will eventually start to connect the two sensations. And over time you’ll be able to reduce how much you rely on stimulating your very sensitive erogenous zone and rely more on your nipple play.
For most people, this would mean masturbating the penis. But being locked removes that option. Instead, you might try anal and prostate play, or tap into your fantasies.
Whatever you choose, as your arousal increases start stimulating your nipples.
4. Stimulate the Whole Nipple
The nipple is made up of two areas: the nipple itself, and the areola (the darker circle around the nipple). Don’t neglect your areolas, because they also contain nerve endings. It might not feel as intense as touching your nipples directly, but circling them with a fingertip and doing whole-nipple pinches that include this area can still feel good.
5. Bring In Some Outside Help
Why limit yourself to your fingers and hands when there’s a whole range of sex toys designed for nipple stimulation? For example, you might try:
- An intimate lubricant to ease unwanted friction.
- Erotic feathers for a softer, more ticklish sensation.
- Circling or holding a bullet vibrator against the nipple once it’s erect.
- Stimulating nipple gels or creams that increase blood flow to the area.
- Nipple clamps for an intense pinch when they go on and sensation when removed. (Use adjustable crocodile nipple clamps if it’s your first time.)
- Nipple suckers and pumps that increase blood flow to the area )making them more sensitive) and tug the nipple.
When Your First Nipplegasm Arrives
How long it takes to achieve a nipple-only orgasm is different for everyone. Some people can increase their nipple sensitivity quite quickly, while others may need many intimate moments to get there. External factors such as hormones, stress levels, and tiredness can also affect nipple sensitivity and how you respond to erogenous zone stimulation.
So try these ideas. But don’t be disheartened if it doesn’t come good for you during your first time. It’s all about building the connection, and training your body and mind to move you towards the pleasure you desire.
